EDAC is delighted to have Lip-Bu Tan join our board of directors at this pivotal point in the organization’s history. With our connections to the semiconductor industry and the greater electronics design community becoming more vital than ever, it is critical that member companies of the EDA Consortium continue to come together to ensure that the collective needs of the industry are effectively represented.
Cadence has been an active member of the EDA Consortium since 1988 and its employees have led important EDA Consortium initiatives on topics such as export controls and software piracy. The appointment of Lip-Bu Tan marks the return of Cadence to the EDA Consortium board.
