For the past number of years, it has been my privilege to serve on the Board of EDAC. In that time, I have worked hard with EDAC to further the following five goals for the organization:
- Become the voice of the EDA industry,
- Fight catastrophic risks (import regulations, for example)
- Improve joint non-competitive efficiency (alignment on conferences)
- Promote growth opportunities for the industry
- Become the “watering hole” for the industry, providing an effective vehicle for the networking and information sharing on which we all depend.
At Synopsys, we work hard to add value to every organization in which we participate. And once again this year, I will bring that same commitment to EDAC if given the opportunity to serve.
