The Electronic Design Automation Consortium is the international association of companies developing EDA tools and services that enable engineers to create the world's electronic products. The EDA Industry provides the critical technology to design electronics that enable the Information Age, including communications, computers, space technology, medical and industrial equipment and consumer electronics.

The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is the premier event for the design of electronic circuits and systems, and for EDA and silicon solutions. DAC features a wide array of technical presentations plus over 250 of the leading electronics design suppliers.

Papers for DATE-09, April 20 - 24, 2009 in Nice, France, are now being accepted at www.date-conference.com. In addition to the general Call for Papers, dedicated Calls for Papers with more details on the distinctive and integrated themes are available in the areas of:

Test Methods, Tools, and Innovative Experiences

Papers for the 46th Design Automation Conference, July 26 - 31, 2009 in San Francisco, CA, are being accepted at www.dac.com. DAC is inviting submissions in five different areas:

Regular Papers
Wild and Crazy Ideas (WACI) Topic Papers
Special Sessions
Panels
Tutorials

Panel and Tutorial suggestions as well as Special Session submissions are due by November 3, 2008. Regular papers and WACI papers are due December 19, 2008. Student Design Contest submissions are due by December 8, 2008. The complete call for papers is available on the DAC web site.
